Marva Dasef is a writer living in the Pacific Northwest with ties to the West Texas region through her father. In fact, he is the "Eddie" in the story. This story is based on tales told by her father about his boyhood in West Texas. Gay Walker - Author of "Sweet Sixteen"

In 2000, Gay Walker, MD left behind a thriving medical practice to spend time with her teenaged daughter and pursue a life-long dream of writing fiction. Since then, she has published short fiction both online and in print, and completed her first novel, The Learner’s Permit, which was a finalist in the Rupert Hughes Prose Writing Competition. She is working on her second novel, and her “for fun” serialized romantic farce, Norbert and Smedley, has gained a following on the Internet. Nicole Borocci - Narrator of "Sweet Sixteen"

Nicole Borocci has worked in broadcasting for the past five years, but more recently has offered her own services, Mightymouth Voice-overs, to get more serious about the industry. Nicole is currently the voice of Southwest Career College and her other recent projects include "Predicto" ads and narrations for church conventions across the country. Nicole works from her home studio in the Mid-Atlantic region and is proud to be part of such a wonderful project that promotes literacy among children and teens.
